Third Thursdays is a free divorce workshop that takes place on the third Thursday of each month from 8:30AM to 10:15AM at the Collaborative Practice Center located in Dupont Circle.
Third Thursdays provides information to men and women navigating divorce, separation and other family matters, including co-parenting, child and spousal support, property distribution and related issues.
Each Third Thursday of the month, licensed and qualified lawyers, mental health professionals and special guests provide essential information about the legal, financial, emotional and logistical aspects of divorce from a perspective of minimizing conflict for the family, protecting the family’s emotional and financial well-being and helping all involved move forward in their lives in the most positive way possible. The workshop also covers the importance of selecting the right process, including Collaborative Practice, mediation and other out-of-court options. Third Thursdays is designed to meet the needs of individuals at various stages of the divorce process.
