Adele D'Ari, Ed.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and partner in Washington Falls Psychotherapy practicing in Virginiaand the District of Columbia for over twenty years. She specializes in working with couples as well as children and families going through divorce. She actively participates as a mental health professional on interdisciplinary teams in collaborative practice. She also serves as a divorce coach, child specialist, and co-parent facilitator. She is a clinical member and approved supervisor of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and founded the Northern Virginia Reflecting Team. Other areas of expertise include couples therapy and work with families experiencing traumatic loss. She is a co-chair of the Collaborative Professionals of Northern Virginia, a practice group of collaborative divorce professionals and is the local representative to the Virginia Collaborative Professionals, the state organization. She received her BA degree from the University of Vermont and her doctorate in counseling psychology from Northeastern University in 1988.
