Family matters. At the Burr Law Firm, we understand that separation and divorce is a traumatic time filled with all sorts of conflict -- emotional, financial and relational. We believe, however, that conflict -- properly handled -- also can be an opportunity for learning and healing. Through good counsel and careful guidance, we ensure that clients not only endure, but use these difficult times as a gateway to a positive and peaceful future.
Ms. Burr helps each client choose the best dispute resolution process for their goals -- whether those goals be to minimize the parties\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' pain; protect the emotional health of the children; preserve the family\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s financial stability; control the timing of the process; protect the parties\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' privacy. She then works with clients in a partner-like relationship to obtain and share information, evaluate options and make sound decisions. In this way, Ms. Burr guides each client through the challenges of conflict and difference to the relief of respectful and realistic resolution, always keeping in mind that family matters.
