Paula Gibson

Paula Bresnan Gibson is the founder of the Gibson Mediation Group, which is a firm that exclusively does family law mediation in the areas of divorce and eldercare. Paula believes that the best ways to resolve family law conflicts occur when parties can air their differences and hear the perspective of the other side. Openly communicating and listening to one another in mediation enables people to find common ground and workable solutions.

Paula is a member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators, the Maryland Council for Dispute Resolution, and is on the roster of domestic mediators for the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Maryland, the D.C. Superior Court Domestic Relations ADR Facilitator roster, and is an ADR access mediator at the Mediation Center for the Pacific. Paula has extensive mediation training in divorce, complex custody and access matters, and eldercare. In her free time, Paula enjoys hiking and watching her favorite hockey team, the Washington Capitals, score goals.
