I am a licensed psychologist with experience helping children, teens and adults for more than twenty years. As a therapist, I am devoted to supporting children, from preschool age through adolescence, as well as adults in individual and couples therapy and parent consultation. Much of my work includes empowering parents, whether married, separated or divorced, to find enhanced ways of helping and relating to their children and teenagers.
As a child specialist, I provide parents with a clear understanding of their child’s emotional concerns and developmental needs, to enable parents to most effectively support their children and teenagers through the separation and divorce process.
I am dedicated to working collaboratively with respect and care for my clients, with the aim of strengthening families, at all stages of the separation and divorce process. I believe that the Collaborative Divorce model provides the opportunity to address a child or teen’s best interests and to promote emotional resiliency.
I received my Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University, Professional Psychology Program, and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America. I am licensed as a psychologist in Maryland and in the District of Columbia.
