Sharon is a psychotherapist with 30 years of clinical experience working with individuals and couples around a wide range of issues including relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, self esteem, grief and difficult life transitions. In addition to her psychotherapy practice, Sharon offers divorce consultation, parenting planning and Collaborative Divorce coaching. As a Collaborative Divorce professional, she helps clients navigate the divorce process, practically and emotionally, as they work to resolve disputes respectfully, restructure their family and plan for the future.
Sharon received her Master’s Degree from Columbia University School of Social Work and has advanced training in Couples Therapy. She has served on the Board of the DC Academy of Divorce Professionals (DCACP), previously served on the Board of the Collaborative Dispute Resolution Professionals (CDRP), is past Program Chair for the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis and is a member of the Greater Washington Society for Clinical Social Work.
