Maria Simon

Maria Simon is the Geller Law Group’s Managing Partner. Maria’s practice is quite versatile, specializing in family law, custody disputes, and litigation. Maria has considerable experience in Federal District Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, Bankruptcy Court nationwide, along with state courts in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. She has worked on many cases helping families navigate the complexities of divorce, represented businesses and individuals in their tort and contract disputes, drafted appellate briefs, and has several favorable decisions published on Lexis exemplifying these achievements. Maria has been continually recognized as Virginia Business’ Legal Elite and selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Along with Maria’s zeal for the practice of law, Maria is an avid runner and yoga practitioner, loves cooking, and spending time with her husband and three sons. A Detroit native and longtime resident of the District of Columbia, Maria recently relocated to Bethesda, Maryland. Maria graduated cum laude from the Honors Program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and cum laude from the American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.
