Suzy Eckstein

Suzy Eckstein is an established estate planning, probate and family law practitioner with extensive experience in litigation and settlement processes. She is a member of both the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars, a trained mediator, and an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland School of Law, teaching Collaborative Law and Practice. Suzy has been active in the Montgomery County and Maryland State Bar Associations, having served in various leadership roles. She is a leader in the collaborative community and believes strongly in this approach for serving her client’s best interests. Suzy was founding President of Collaborative Dispute Resolution Professionals, a local practice group; founding member of the Maryland Collaborative Practice Council, a statewide organization; a past Civil Chair of the District of Columbia Academy of Collaborative Professionals; and founding Co-President of the Collaborative Project of Maryland, a non-profit organization providing collaborative services to Maryland families of modest means. Suzy is also featured in Bethesda Magazine Top 25 divorce lawyers.
